Setting up WebDav in Cyberduck

Cyberduck is an open source FTP and SFTP, WebDAV, Cloud Files, Google Docs, and Amazon S3 client for Mac OS X and Windows (as of version 4.0) licensed under the GPL. Cyberduck can be downloaded from cyberduck.ch or here.

This document provides instructions to set up WebDAV in Cyberduck on a computer with the Windows 7 operating system.

  1. Select the plus sign to add a new bookmark
  2. Select the WebDAV (HTTP/SSL) client from the dropdown menu
  3. The server name is web11.engr.uconn.edu
  4. The port is 4443
  5. Username use your NetID
  6. Click More Options
  7. The Path is /mysite (mysite = your account name)
  8. Specify your local folder location
  9. Web URL: https://web11.engr.uconn.edu:4443/mysite (mysite = your account name)
  10. Your window should look like this:

  11. Close the window, and click Open Connection on the top icon
  12. Select the WebDAV (HTTP/SSL) client from the dropdown menu
  13. The server name is web11.engr.uconn.edu
  14. The port is 4443
  15. Username & Password: Enter your NetID and NetID password. (If you've forgotten your NetID password you can reset it at netid.uconn.edu)
  16. Click More Options
  17. The Path is /mysite (mysite = your account name)
  18. Your window should look like this:

  19. Click Connect
